A Farmhouse with Urban Elegance
Dating back to the 16th century, the farmhouse still features original elements such as oak beams and an elegant 18th-century front house with refined details, blending rural tradition with a stately, almost urban character.
A Unique Cultural Landscape
Evesingehus is part of a protected cultural landscape in the Reest Valley and forms a recognised estate under the Dutch Nature Conservation Act, together with a neighbouring historic property.
Room 1: Yellow room – Quiet private apartment with countryside views
The Yellow Room is located on the ground floor at the peaceful rear of the farmhouse, offering maximum privacy and a relaxed atmosphere. Ideal for longer stays.
This room has a private entrance and a private bathroom. A kitchenette will be added soon, allowing you to prepare simple meals yourself.
Warmly furnished and fully equipped with a double bed, TV, combi microwave, coffee corner, seating area, and a separate dining/work space. A comfortable home away from home.
Room 2: The cow room -Authentic stay with rural views
The Cow Room is located on the first floor of the farmhouse and is accessed via a shared entrance with the owners, adding to its warm and authentic character. The room offers beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
Spacious and comfortable, with a large private bathroom and a double bed. Facilities include a dining area, cosy seating area with TV, and a coffee corner with combi microwave. Perfect for a relaxing short or longer stay.
The front house: Spacious, authentic, and comfortable
The Front House combines historic charm with modern comfort. Original details have been carefully preserved, creating a warm and characterful atmosphere. Suitable for up to four guests and ideal for longer stays.
You access your private accommodation via a hallway. A kitchen (possibly shared with camper guests) is located here. Stairs lead to your private rooms; ceilings are slightly lower, in keeping with the historic character.
For one or two guests, you enjoy exclusive use of a very spacious room with twin beds (convertible to a double), seating area, dining area, and ensuite bathroom.
For three or four guests, a second large bedroom with twin beds and seating area is available via an additional staircase.
All rooms overlook the garden and surrounding meadows, offering peace, space, and comfort.
Breakfast
Breakfast is not included by default and can be added for €18 per person per night. We serve a fresh breakfast with carefully selected local products.
