Stay near Giethoorn

Giethoorn – the “Venice of the North” – deserves its visitors: canals instead of roads, thatched farms, Weerribben-Wieden National Park. In high season a night in the village itself is costly and restless. Parking is harder, paths are fuller, and the early-morning magic fades if you sit on the tourist strip.
